"Now I eat the foods that make me feel good": Cindy
March 2, 2025
Cindy started swimming competitively when she was 10 years old. She didn't really think about what she was eating because she was just swimming so much.
So she ate whatever was presented to her.
But when she hit puberty, she became more muscular. Plus she had a swim coach who made her do weigh-ins and fat analysis.
That's when Cindy started comparing her body to others and tracking calories.
And very soon, she started labeling foods as "good" and "bad", but she didn't know any different because that's what everybody else was doing.
Cindy struggled with dieting restriction, and this type of restricted eating led her to experience body dysmorphia, and she started to dislike her body.
Listen to Cindy's inspiring story of how she went from disordered eating and hating her body to intuitive eating and having a better relationship with food... and with herself.
