Listen to episode 56:
"Sugar brought out my negative emotions": Paula

February 6, 2022

Paula Yolles grew up like most people: eating sugar.
Sugar was part of her daily life.

Throughout her childhood and into adulthood and parenthood, she had stomach aches, and she was constipated, with gas and bloating. Plus she put on weight, even though her family ate relatively healthy.

After an emotional divorce, Paula needed a change.
But she never intended to stop eating sugar. (Who does?!)

Slowly, gradually, she changed her way of eating and started doing the emotional work that she needed to do to reconnect with herself.
Cutting sugar was part of that reconnection, and it helped Paula stop spinning and giving in to the negative mind chatter which was affecting her self-esteem.

Whenever she'd slip, she would quickly notice the effect sugar had on her energy, her mood, her anger, and her relationships.

In this episode, Paula tells how she created a new relationship with her food... and herself.
